Professor Floridi receives the Covey Award

The Faculty is pleased to announce that Professor Luciano Floridi, Fellow of St Cross, is this year's recipient of the Covey Award for Outstanding Research in Computing and Philosophy. The award is given by the International Association for Computing and Philosophy to a senior philosopher who has made outstanding research contributions to the field of computing and philosophy. Professor Floridi will deliver the keynote lecture and receive the award at the 2012 AISB/IACAP World Congress to be held in honour of Alan Turing at the University of Birmingham this July.
