British Society of Aesthetics Essay Prize

Dr Lee Walters, Career Development Fellow in Philosophy at Somerville College, has been awarded the British Society of Aesthetics Essay Prize for 2012 for his paper “Repeatable Artworks as Created Types”. A revised version of the paper will be published by the British Journal of Aesthetics. This is the second time the prize has been awarded to a philosopher in Oxford, with Dr James Grant winning the last prize in 2010.
