BPhil Alumni Information

The BPhil is Oxford’s flag-ship two-year Masters course. It is regarded both as training for doctoral programmes, and a basis for teaching a range of philosophical subjects. This page provides information on what graduates of the BPhil have gone on to.

Ole Andreassen is currently working as an analyst at CIL Management Consultants where he provides strategic advice to a variety of UK and international businesses.

Chris Blake-Turner is currently studying for a PhD in Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (from September 2015). He was awarded their Richard Brooke Fellowship, which is a university-wide competition for graduates from the UK.

Kevin Ashby is practising law as the Assistant General Counsel of the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City.  He is also an Assistant Professor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where he teaches Public Health Law.
